PowerBuy Member Terms

Effective date: 9 June 2026

1. Agreement and eligibility

These terms apply when you create or use a PowerBuy member account. You must be at least 18, provide accurate information, keep your login secure and notify PowerBuy promptly of suspected misuse. One person may not create duplicate accounts to obtain additional redemptions or referral benefits.

2. Marketplace role

PowerBuy provides a marketplace and redemption service. Unless a deal expressly states otherwise, the supplier provides the goods or services and is responsible for fulfilment, quality, safety, refunds and compliance with the Australian Consumer Law. PowerBuy may assist with a complaint but does not become the supplier merely by displaying an offer.

3. Offers

Offer availability, dates, locations, exclusions, capacity and redemption instructions are displayed on each deal. Members must review them before redemption. Offers have no cash value, cannot be resold and may be limited to one per verified account. A code may expire at the earlier of the displayed offer expiry or the code expiry.

4. Redemptions

Redemption codes are confidential, single-use credentials. You must show the code only to the relevant supplier. PowerBuy may cancel codes affected by error, fraud, duplicate accounts, supplier suspension or an unlawful offer. Cancellation does not remove any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

5. Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies consumer guarantees, remedies or other rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Concerns about supplied goods or services should first be raised with the supplier. PowerBuy should also be notified where the offer was inaccurate, unavailable or misleading.

6. Acceptable use

You must not probe security, automate abusive requests, impersonate another person, upload malicious material, interfere with redemptions, scrape supplier information, manipulate referrals or use PowerBuy unlawfully. Responsible security reports should be sent to the published security contact.

7. Account action

PowerBuy may restrict or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, security, unlawful use, material breach or risk to users or suppliers. We will provide notice and a review opportunity where practical and lawful.

8. Referrals and promotions

Referral rewards apply only when the published campaign conditions are met. Self-referrals, misleading promotion and unsolicited messages are prohibited. PowerBuy may correct errors and withhold benefits linked to abuse.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, PowerBuy is not liable for indirect or consequential loss caused by a supplier's independent act, a member's failure to follow disclosed terms, or events outside reasonable control. Any limitation operates subject to non-excludable statutory rights.

10. Complaints and termination

Members can raise account, deal or privacy complaints using the support contact on the final domain. You may request account closure, subject to retention of records needed for security, disputes, accounting or law. PowerBuy may update these terms prospectively and will give reasonable notice of material changes.
